WHERE IS T.V.R.C. - TILTON POOL ?
Nestled in a relaxing setting in Northfield, NJ, Tilton Pool can be reached by traveling East on Tilton Road, with a left on Cresson Ave. Take 3nd right onto Fabian Ave. The pool parking lot is down on the right. Also, check out the “MAP” link on the web page.
IS TILTON POOL A PUBLIC POOL?
No, Tilton Pool is a private club with seasonal memberships only.
MUST I BE A NORTHFIELD RESIDENT? No, memberships are not limited to Northfield.
HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?
Your first step is to be placed on our waiting list, which is used to fill vacancies each year. To get on the waiting list, ask for an application from staff or a board member, or print one from the website.
HOW MUCH IS A MEMBERSHIP?
New members pay a one-time only registration fee of $25, and the seasonal fee is currently $385 for a Family and $195 for a single membership.
MUST I INVEST IN A BOND?
No, there is only the seasonal membership fee.
WHO DOES THE MEMBERSHIP INCLUDE?
A family membership fee includes all members of your household, living under one roof.
WHEN ARE YOU OPEN?
The season runs from mid-June till Labor Day, 7 days a week from12-8
WHO OWNS THE T.V.R.C. ?
Since the beginning, the Tilton Village Recreation Corporation is owned by the Pool Board and its members. It is a NOT-FOR-PROFIT facility, totally run by volunteers.
MAY I BRING GUESTS?
Absolutely !! Each seasonal membership includes guest passes (5 for a family membership, or 2 for a single membership). Each individual guest pass is good for one day and can be used for a person, or an entire family. Additional passes can be purchased.
MAY I DROP OFF MY CHILDREN AT THE POOL? Unfortunately NO! Insurance liability forbids it. But why would you not want to join them for a relaxing time ?!
WHAT ARE THE POOL RULES?
The pool rules are posted on site, on the website, and sent to each member.
WHAT ABOUT BIRTHDAY PARTIES?
Birthday parties are available to our members (we don't offer parties at the pool to the general public) and party guidelines are on the website, go to the “INFO” tab, and then click “FORMS”.
WHAT ABOUT SAFETY IN AND AROUND THE POOL? The main priority of the Pool Board is just that! Our lifeguards are fully certified by the Red Cross in Water Safety, First Aid, and CPR. The facility meets stringent standards required by our Insurance Company, the City of Northfield, and the County Board of Health.
IS THE POOL AVAILABLE FOR PRIVATE PARTY RENTALS? Yes, we can plan the perfect function, catering to all your special needs (see our INFO section of this website).
